The Microsoft Professional Developers Conference (PDC) 2010 is happening next week out in Redmond, Wa. This is the first time the event has been held on the Microsoft campus. If you’ve ever been to a PDC before, then you know it is where Microsoft shares its developer platform’s futures. This year’s PDC promises an exciting look at the next generation of Cloud Services, Client & Devices, and Framework & Tools.
PDC 2010 has been SOLD OUT for while now. So we know not everyone can get a chance to go to Redmond. That’s why the PDC is offering live streaming of the entire conference, including the keynotes AND breakout sessions.
We’re going to be hosting local PDC 2010 viewing parties in the Microsoft offices in New York City, Philly area, and Atlanta area on October 28th, 2010. You could watch the PDC at home or alone in your cube at work, but why not come out and catch the conference with fellow developers locally in your area! It’ll be a great opportunity for networking and sharing thoughts on the conference with your peers. Plus, there’ll be food and some goodies too! Rachel Appel & I will be hanging out at the NYC party all day.
Since the event is taking place on the west coast, the streaming party will start around noon and run into the evening here on the east coast. Check out the agenda below, and then register for the city of your choice using the links at the end of this post.

Peter, I tried to sign up via pdc10 website and it says New York registration (8:30am - 3:30pm) is full. However, I found this blog and it says 12pm - 8:30pm. I'm confused, there seem to be different batch of time schedule. I was able to register to the link you posted here (12pm-8:30pm), but I am planning to go there at 9:30am. Just scared that I will get denied entrance to the event. Any updates the NYC event? Thanks.
Hi Lenny,
There were originally two separate events set up for different customers. However, it's all open now. While we're still advertising the stream from noon-830, you can come earlier if you'd like, even if you signed up with the link in this post for the 12-830 event. Rachel Appel will be doing a live talk on Web Matrix at 10am ahead of the keynote.
