Hi David-

To our knowledge, there shouldn't be any problems with both the June 2008 CTP and the .NET Framework 4 installed side-by-side. From the perspective of .NET 4, the System.Threading.dll assembly that came with the June 2008 CTP is just another arbitrary assembly that has nothing to do with the types in .NET 4.

Of course, you'd probably run into problems if you tried to use that assembly in a .NET 4 project, since they both contain types named the same and existing in the same namespace.

Guys,

I've installed the .NET 4.0 Beta bits to play with, and have it (seemingly successfully) running side-by-side with the PFX June '08 CTP (on which my project currently has a dependency). Obviously not a "supported scenario," but any major issues you foresee with this configuration?
