I just came back from my first ever TechEd in Barcelona.  It was a great event and I had a chance to meet some very smart people and discuss architecture.  Many long discussions around what is an architect and how do you become one (which I'll write in a seperate post) and what role should the architect play in making a project successful. I would reccommend it to anyone involved in development with Microsoft technologies or even architects who are cross technology. Barcelona is a great host city, this was my second time there and it was a blast, though I was working every day the last night at the speakers dinner and after party was a great chance to wind down and see the city.
