Windows PowerShell documentation

Windows PowerShell documentation

  • Comments 8

I have recently noticed that a number of people have missed the fact that we have a Windows PowerShell Documenation Download (for RC1) at:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=2B0BBFCD-0797-4083-A817-5E6A054A85C9&displaylang=en

Everyone should download this document and give it a read.  I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by how valuable it is.

  • A also noted that at the powerShell page :

    www.microsoft.com/powershell

the link to the documentationset is called getting started, but it does link to the full documentation set. :

    Learn More
    • Windows PowerShell Getting Started Guide

and its much more than that, so fixing this would also help to make it more "findable".

  • The documentation link above is not avaialble - please let me (and presumably others) when it will be available. martyfelker@gmail.com Marty Felker Thank you.
  • Why in the world would you have your documentation in  Word Doc/RTF Doc?  When everyone else has gone to searchable html/chm style docs, you are releasing this?

  • Where can I submit issues with the documentation? I had only started using them when I found a fairly major typo.

  • BUAHUAHA!!

Looking for documentation... and the 1st link leads immediately to Page Not Found!

  • PingBack from http://blogrssblog.info/windows-powershell-windows-powershell-documentation/

  • This pointer is no longer accurate.  Best new link to hit seems to be

    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/technologies/management/powershell/default.mspx
