Automating the world one-liner at a time…
Today at the keynote at ITForum in Barcelona, we announced the official release of Windows PowerShell 1.0!
For those of you unfamiliar with Windows PowerShell, it is a best of breed next-generation commandline shell designed from the ground up to be flexible and powerful while still remaining easy to use. Many thanks go to our friends at MySpace.com for coming all the way to Barcelona to show how they're using Windows PowerShell in production today for the mission critical task of maintaining and managing the second busiest website in the world.
To download Windows PowerShell, please visit: http://www.microsoft.com/powershell/download
Thanks again and Enjoy!
Leonard Chung, Jeffrey Snover, and Arul Kumaravel on behalf of the PowerShell Team
Update: PowerShell is also available for Vista-RC1 and Windows Server Code Name "Longhorn" IDS 5600. Please visit: http://www.microsoft.com/powershell/download

There are microsoft.com pages hidden below those links up there but the links on those pages are dead. Sorry...
Congratulations! I'm downloading now.
I'll spread this news on Brazilian community.
The download seems to have been moved, and now requires Genuine Advantage validation.
All the download links in the KB articles are invalid.
All I can find is RC2.
The download URLs are not working? Any status?
All the links of the support page don't work:-(
Vista has RTM'd, so why is PowerShell for Vista not supported? Very sad indeed.
The link from the download page to the XP SP2 x86 installer just takes me to the Microsoft Search page
