Automating the world one-liner at a time…
Have you see the totally cool new ads for Windows server 2008 at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2008/en/us/serverunleashed/default.html ?
This is one of the best things I think I've ever seen our Marketing dept ever developed and they feature this awesome looking robot:
3 cheers to the superstars in Microsoft Marketing!
I just LOVE this guy! I've decided to declare him the informal PowerShell mascot. Stick a flag on him - he's ours. :-)
After all, what conveys automation better than a robot?
The problem is that I can't think of a good name for him. That's where you come in. What should we name him? (I'm open to being convinced that it is a her but if you watch the way this thing moves, I think you'll agree that it is a guy).
There is no prize besides fame and our eternal goodwill but it is a worthy thing to contribute to.

Server Unleashed; sounds like the force; good at dealing with challenges directly or dealing with them using the force(wireless would be the closest thing for computers); My recommendation is:
Silvertooth's father was a server, and Silvertooth wanted to become a server like his father, with more power than you can possibly imagine.
This is his domain.
Giving a little history to the name; hope nobody has a bad feeling about this.
Anything will do except the stupid "Android" :)
Marvin, from the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.
How do you know it's a he? What about Shelley...
Since you were obviously not amused by my first ... How about " Itisnoveryet " ...
My Submission - Poshy or maybe Poshobot or even just Poshbot.
Another one: rbtlet (read robotlet or botlet)
"Manage Max", or just Max for short. As in Maximum.
A trilogy of suggested movie titles:
1. Manage Max
2. The Shell Warrior
3. Manage Max: Beyond GUIdome
Another idea -- direct from the 1979 movie "The Black Hole": Maximilian Shell
Being Irish, I thought:
"Tonne" being a play on a metric tonne, him being a giant bulky robot of death etc, and of course when you say it out loud...
It's already got a name - IT 24-7.
I've got "Shell Host - IT Hang On Tight!", but the acronym might upset some people! :-)
After watching the preview, another name:
Silvertooth: "You don't know the power of the Server. Join me and we will link the world together."
How about: APower (Automation Power).
