Automating the world one-liner at a time…
Tonight is the night!
I was super happy when we shipped V1 of PowerShell. It started the journey. That said, V2 is the release that we really wanted to release.
Today Windows 7 is publicly available and every version has PowerShell V2 in it.
Tonight – we party!
I’ll be cracking a beer with Hal Rottenberg and Jonathan Walz (hosts of the PowerScripting Podcast) in a PowerShell V2 Virtual Launch Party tonight at 9:30 PM EDT (GMT-4).
For more details and info on how to join us go HERE. I’m looking forward to seeing you. Note, you can always watch the podcast after the fact but if you join, you can make comments and ask questions in the chat room – lots of fun.

So when can we download v2 RTW for XP and Server 2003???
Where to download it for server 2008? Hasn't it been RTM in the MSDN bits for Win 7 and 2008 R2 MSDN for a while?
Thank you PowerShell team. PowerShell v2 rocks.
Thanks for that show tonight, it was real fun :)
Much thanks Guys!

Thanks so much for spending time talking with us. As a new user, it was helpful and I really appreciate it! Thanks too for all the hard work you've put into this project. It's starting to help make my life/work easier....
Great show. Great job PowerShell Team for PowerShell v2!!
Thanks for doing the show, Jeff! And thanks for PowerShell!
Thanks For all you hard work!!
Great show and thanks so much for PowerShell 2.0! It already kinda of bites when I have to go back to 1.0. :-) Good luck on planning for the next release.
Sweet and thanks for moving the shell into the future for all platforms. The command line competition needed to see that something powerful and useful could be done and you took it beyond just a shell for interacting with files. Great job.
