It's regrettable, but understandable.

In the meantime, you can run PowerShell on Vista. It's not supported, but it works just fine here. I've been using the hack for over a week and am not having any issues.

re: Windows PowerShell & Windows Vista

Thanks for your kind words Janssen! The whole team feels bad about the lag in Vista support which is why we are working hard to get it done.

I just wanted to say that I saw you at TechEd, and I thought that your presentation was the best of the week. I think this product will revolutionize Windows administration, and can't thank you enough for all the work you've done. That being said, I've had Vista as my primary OS since Beta 2, and have had to resort to running Powershell out of a VM. I'm sure your hands are probably tied, and you've shown considerable patience in this onslaught of public outrage (I've posted outrage on different threads myself). I know it's not your fault, and I hope you don't lose any sleep over the horribly mismanaged installer fiasco. Keep up the good work!

re: Windows PowerShell & Windows Vista

> What I would also like to see is more information on "the new CBS technology" please someon post me a link for it.

Be forewarned that they don't use the term CBS and that they are talking about the full set of Installation/Migration technologies but this is the best link I can find.
