If you'd like to test against our latest bits, make sure you download them here: www.powershell.com/downloads/psp1new.zip.

Just uploaded a version with further enhanced debugging, allowing for step out/in and run-to-cursor. Thanks to the truly great PS community for constantly asking for more and new features like these!

BTW PS+ approx takes 3x the memory native powershell.exe consumes, here's why: we use two hosts concurrently and need a bit memory for the editor. It's meant to be a rapid PS script dev environment, not a replacement for powershell.exe ;-)

re: PowerShell Plus is now official!

Just lucked into evaluating this.

Excellent work by Karl and Tobias. The future of PowerShell is looking more robust all of the time.

The flexibility and usefulness of the UI and tools will make building sophisticated management solutions very easy.

It's NOT Visual Studio. It IS what administrators and designers need to quickly hammer out dynamic solutions to tricky problems of management and configuration of complex systems/applications.

WOW!

New and Notable 227

Onto the 2nd cup of coffee.
