Photography and China – Professor Zeng Yi
Professor Zeng Yi joined us at the Summit all the way from China to present his unique perspective on the art of photography in today’s China. Much like the rest of the world’s photographers, Chinese photographers focus primarily on the art of telling a story. The fundamental difference is the unique style and symbolism used in communicating an otherwise universal theme: Life.
Professor Zeng Yi is the Director-General of the Art Gallery of Shandong University of Arts & Design, President of the Eastern Photographic Art Association, and Executive Director of PPA China. He is honored as “The Specialist of Chinese Ministry” of China and the recipient of numerous prestigious international awards.
