UC Berkeley Botanical Gardens / The Ferry Building
by Jeff Greene /
We had a great turnout Monday for Photowalks in Berkeley and San Francisco. About sixty people joined Miss Aniela and Ziv Gillat of Eye-Fi for the first two photowalks of this West Coast tour.
First we headed across the Bay to UC Berkeley where were joined by a small group of devoted followers at the Botanical Gardens. Ziv showed the hot new technology in the Nikon D300 that can create multiple exposures in camera while processing.
Later that evening we met about fifty photographers at the Ferry Building along with Thomas Hawk (http://thomashawk.com/) and, after assuring Security that we were not planning to overthrow the governments of the Free World, we proceeded to photograph the Bay Bridge, the waterfront from Pier 16, and the Crouching Spider sculpture.
It was a great day and I look forward to tomorrows' photowalks on our last day in San Francisco, and then on Wednesday in Los Angeles.
