Scaled PushPin Sample (C# / XAML apps) [link]
The Bing Maps control for Windows 8 allows developers to include maps in their application. The map can then be customized to include one or more MapLayers with various lat/long positioned assets that will display on the map including PushPins, Images, Polygon's, etc.
This sample demonstrates how to add custom PushPins (using any image you want) to the map in a way that scales as you zoom in/out of the map view. Since this is a Scaled PushPin the original size of the image is scaled to preserve how it looks on the map regardless of the map zoom level.
