So I'm sitting here wondering why I'm using a WinForms client (not that that isn't cool) to write an entry into my blog when I should really be using Microsoft Word, since it's job is to be a really great editor. Sooner or later (probably later ;-) ) I'm going to do something with VSTO to get a Word front-end onto this.

What's VSTO? It's the (unofficial and marketing probably will kill me for using it) acronym we use instead of our real product name, "Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for the Microsoft Office System". You can find out more at http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/office (the web appears to be broken today, but that URL should work) but basically it lets you use Visual Studio to build Word or Excel document customisations. Think high-end VBA but with VB .NET or C#.

Anyway, that's enough for now.
