I was at Borders (whaddayaknow, they redirect to Amazon!) in Redmond looking for something to do with my Little Brother when I came across this book. Given the recent blogs by Eric and myself, I thought it would be a good read. I also picked up The Complete Idiot's Guide to Psychology on a whim because it looks like it could be fun.

(Of course now I'm looking the titles up on the web I see they're a few dollars cheaper. Nevertheless, I would not have stumbled across them just browsing around cyberspace, so I think it was money well spent).

I'll report back on the books if I ever finish them, but I have this annoying habit of never getting more than 1/3 or 1/2 or 3/4 of the way through a book before giving up and going on to something else (kind of like with Xbox games, or programming projects, or pretty much anything else I do... maybe the psychology book will have something to say about it).

I didn't find anything of use for my primary mission, so if there are any parents of 12-year-olds (or, indeed, any 12-year-olds) reading this that have good ideas about what to do now that the weather has turned bad, I'd love to hear them!

(P.S. I promise more geeky blog entries soon!)
