Eric Carter has started blogging! That makes two out of our three Erics on the VSTO team blogging.

Eric Carter works on building the next-generation programming model for VSTO 2 and doing an amazing array of other really cool things. And if you happen to spill salsa all over your sweatshirt at a Mexican restaurant and then try to wash it off in the bathroom, he'll even hang it out to dry for you in the sun. What a guy!

Eric and I famously disagree on just about everything we talk about internally. He even sends me random web links throughout the day to distract me from coming up with any more crazy ideas about the next version of our tools :-)

OK, OK, I disagree with just about everyone on the team except Andrew. And sometimes John (who should probably be blogging but isn't). Maybe it's me?

Anyway, let's see if this whole blogging thing is big enough for the both of us ;-)

Oh and I should have some more real content up here soon... I've been battling my RSI lately so I've been trying to avoid too much typing. :-( Julie and Jennifer both recommend Ashtanga Yoga, which I will have to try. Anyone recommend a good place on the East Side (Redmond / Kirkland / Bellevue / etc) to do it?

  • How nice of you to point some of your legions of fans in my direction.

You’re going to give me a complex about this disagreeing thing—pretty soon I’m going to have to agree with everything you say just to prove you wrong.

Wait a minute—that’s all part of your evil plan isn’t it?

And come to think of it—I would just be agreeing with you to disagree with you on your premise that I always disagree with you.

    My head hurts.
  • Are you anywhere near this studio:

The teachers there are certified ashtanga teachers. I'm not sure about the areas you are in since I don't know Washington all that well.. I did a search on redmond but didn't come up with much (wierd, since you'd think the personality types of the programmers at Microsoft would lend themselves to an ashtanga practice ;>).
