Speaker 1: Jon Lindsay - Queensland Executive Connection (TEC) Community Chairman
An exceptional facilitator and management coach, Jon is the Queensland Community Chairman for TEC, Managing Consultant for global Lean Business specialists SA Partners and is a much valued Mentor for the Queensland Mentoring for Growth program. Jon has CEO and senior management experience in international manufacturing, distribution, and B2B service industries and he grew a start up into one of the largest independent invoice finance businesses in the UK.Jon will introduce Lean Thinking Principles, address some of the misconceptions, and demonstrate how applied Lean Thinking can revolutionise any business or process.
Speaker 2: Greg Beaver - Director, 2020 Innovation and Investments
Greg is a passionate start-up specialist with a track record of bringing together the expertise, networks and capital required to commercialise innovative technology firms and position them for international success. Greg is a Director of 2020 Innovation & Investments, Founding Director of the Pioneer Pooled Development Fund. He is a mentor for the Innovation Centre Sunshine Coast, River City Labs and Mentoring for Growth and a member of the Commercialisation Australia Expert Network. Greg has also co-founded several successful start-ups and sits on the boards of a number of private and public companies. He will draw on his applied Lean experience to provide case studies that will show how to Start Lean and Go Global
