I am quite new to share market and I see that a lot of my colleagues here use it for investment. With the markets going up and down like crazy, it gives tonnes of opportunities of making your portfolio a bit better over time.

I created a small and handy calculator which helps you in making some decisions and save some time.

First tab can be used to calculate the Average price of your scrip. Let's say, you bought 32 shares at an average price of 100 and the Current Price goes down to 95. You can see that there is a loss of 160 bucks. Then, you decide that you will buy some 20 shares and sell all of them off at 105. Check out how the Grid will look like. If you say that Projected Buy is 20, this calculator will do the calculation for 2, 4, 6, 8... 20 as you can see below.

The other tab Purchase/Sell will simply give you an option of seeing the actual Profit. For ex. if you buy some scrip at 100, and you are selling it at 101, the TAX factor will come into play and you will end up losing a few bucks (arghhhh!!).

Okay, that's pretty much it. I just had a few mins to spare on this small calculator and it serves my purpose.

If you need more features etc. make some money from the share "bazaar" and donate some part of it to a poor guy called Rahul. I will try to add it Smile !!

Cheers,
Rahul
