I have been away from this blog for almost 3 years. Time indeed flies! I have thoroughly enjoyed my stint at the PFE team and learnt a lot of stuff. The role has been a lot more customer facing than it was in GTSC.

All this while I was blogging at www.dotnetscraps.com. One reason was because of the randomness that came as a gift of the new role. Going forward, I guess I will some here… some there… and some will be cross-posted.

Anyways… enough of my bladibladiblah!

If you are a parent with young kids and own a Windows Phone 7, you may like to check these out. There is a Smart Dialer for Windows Phone 7 too, in case you are interested.

  • Free app vs paid app is clearly a big consideration for any app development team launching a new app into the app store. You can create an app and sell it for a fixed price or create a free app with advertisement that will make you money if any one click and view that advertisement.  The percentage of free apps is higher in the Android market place.  The Apple store has more free apps when compared to the Android market places.  In iphone stores the top 10 paid games were sold at merely 99 cents cheapest of all stores.
