We've released the final set of localized versions of the new Remote Desktop Client corresponding to Vista for the following languages:

 

Windows Server 2003: Czech, Portugese – Portugal, Turkish, Hungarian

Windows XP: Czech, Greek, Portugese – Portugal, Turkish, Hungarian

Windows XP SP2 MUI: MUI

Here are some of the new features in this version of the Remote Desktop Client:

  • Windows Server codename ‘Longhorn’ & Windows Vista feature support
  • TS Remote Programs support
  • TS Gateway support
  • Monitor Spanning
  • 32-bit color and font smoothing
  • Server Authentication
  • Plug and Play device redirection framework support
  • Unified ActiveX and Win32 based client

 To install the new version, go to Windows Update on the target computer and look for optional software updates, or download it from the Microsoft Download Center.

 

In addition the following languages were released a while back:

Windows Server 2003: Chinese – Simplified, Chinese – Traditional, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese – Brazil, Russian, Spanish – Spain, Swedish.

Windows XP: Arabic, Chinese - Simplified, Chinese – Traditional, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese – Brazil, Russian, Spanish – Spain, Swedish.

Windows Server 2003 x64: Japanese

Windows XP x64: Japanese

  • i have a SSL enabled Terminal Server on windows server 2003,when i use TS client 6.0 to connect the server,it seems that ts client v6.0 totally ignore the ssl setting when i set the client as "Aloways connect,even if authentication fails".what is the problem,and how can i solve it?any information will be appriciate.
