Lately, one of my missions in life has been migrating clients off of Teradata and Business Objects and onto SQL Server 2005 (database engine, Analysis Services and Reporting Services). I'm just putting a couple notes to self out here so that I don't forget...

It seems like I'm driving a completely different car almost every week... since Avis can't seem to stock the same makes and models consistently nationwide. I wonder if they're a franchisor – that might explain it. Nonetheless, it establishes my self-deprecating...

Part of the Better Together demo this week of Vista and Office 2007 included one little gadget that I think should be a part of every BI presentation to customers between now and when Vista ships. What would that one little feature be that could leverage...

First a big thank you to all the great people who made TR3 an enormous success. As we say in Tejas, “Y'all rock!” The presenters, the staff, the convention center, the city of Seattle... all of it. I'm only sad because I have to fly home tomorrow to Houston...

One more piece of 3rd-party software that I don't need: VZAccess Manager. Keith's excellent post got me a-werkin'. I luv my KPC650. It's certainly more reliable than any WAP I've been on this week. How many geeks does it take to overload the wireless...
