I have always liked difficult hikes, but recently I have started mountain climbing. This is something that is really enjoyable, yet so hard. About 2 weeks ago, I climbed Mt Adams which is about 12,300 feet. This was one of the most strenuous things that I have ever done, yet exhilarating at the same time.
A blizzard, gale force winds and whiteout conditions made for a miserable night on the mountain, but the next morning it was crystal clear and very still. I wont bore you with the whole store since it was a two day trip.
However, it was an amazing feeling to get to the top, having battled the elements and gravity.
