Here are my contributions to BlogDay 2005, none of which are directly related to Team System:

  1. Mathemagenic [RSS]
I met Lilia Efimova through Korby Parnell. Lilia has been doing research for her PhD at Microsoft this past summer. As she puts it, she’s “a social scientist working with geeks.” Her blog, Mathemagenic, means “giving birth to learning” and she uses her blog as her learning diary.
  2. TravelBlog [RSS]
It may be a small world, but people are always trekking from side of it to another. TravelBlog aggregates numerous travel blogs of people who are sharing their journeys with postings and photos from every conceivable, far-flung corner of the world. Feeling chained to your cube? Live vicariously through someone else.
  3. Andy HoboTraveler.Com Travel Blog [RSS]
Ever want to live a life less normal? Andy Graham does. He’s been on the go for eight years and has traveled to more than 55 countries. I’ve often suspected there were people like Andy who lived a worldwide nomadic lifestyle.
  4. WorldRider [RSS]
Combining two of my favorite pastimes, travel and riding, Allan Karl set out to travel the world on July 6th of this year – 50 countries and 50,000 miles on a motorcycle. However, I’m a little concerned since he hasn’t posted anything since early August.
  5. Usable Help [RSS]
Gordon Meyer has a blog that in his words, “…exists to discuss, examine, and observe the state of documentation, on-screen help in particular, for computers, software, and consumer products.” Sure, it’s not as fun as globetrotting, but he has a lot of great posts with savvy insights on improving on help systems.

I didn’t bother with Step 2 of the BlogDay posting instructions, which reads, “2. Notify the 5 bloggers that you are recommending them as part of BlogDay 2005.” They probably don’t need the extra e-mail.

  • Yes, I don't need extra email to be notified :) Thanks for adding me to the list!
