Rob,
I think I'm running in to the limitation of the performance counters memory. I ran a 10 hour test, taking samples every 1 minute. 5 hours into the test, I started getting messages like:

05:21:00 The performance counter category '.NET CLR Exceptions' cannot be accessed on computer 'DPD_PELAB_S08.CORP.xxx.COM' (Access is denied); check that the category and computer names are correct. - -
It worked for the first 5 hours. And, I continued to retreive counters from the controller (User load and Average test case time).

Which machine would I put the change to the machine config--the controller, the agent, or the machine I was load testing against?

Rob,
glad to hear that you guys were already well aware of these things. If I had to give a priority to any of them it would definitely be the ability to have one test call another. The fact that they have to be coded isn't ideal, but certainly better than nothing.
