This morning I sat in on session presented by Microsoft Distinguished Engineer Anders Hejlsberg, the father of C#.  He discuss the language enhancements that are part of the C# 2.0 coming in Visual Studio 2005.  The major topics of the talk were generics (which will also be implemented in Visual Basic.NET), partial types, nullable types and a new enhancement introduced at TechEd, anonymous methods. He gave the clearest explanation of  the “why?” for partial types and generics. And I look forward to sharing what I heard in my mini-session on Visual Studio 2005.
