Dark Skies theme
“Twisting tree limbs are silhouetted against billowing clouds, fences stretch to dark horizons, and flocks of birds burst forth across the sky, seeming to portend doom. Also, there are cows. It's a gothic world of mystery and foreboding in this free theme for Windows 7, featuring photos by Tracy Hymas.”

“One way to avoid deceptive websites is to know the address of the website you're intending to visit. With domain highlighting, Internet Explorer 9 lets you see the true web address at a glance by highlighting the domain name in the Address bar, making it easier for you to identify the sites you visit. This helps alert you to deceptive websites that try to trick you with misleading addresses and can help reduce the chances of compromising your personal information.”

The Windows 7 Future Proof Tour is on the road. We're showcasing Windows 7 along with other Microsoft technologies to students at some of the biggest and best universities across England. We'll be touring 27 campuses between February and May this year, demonstrating how Windows features can help students take their first steps into the difficult jobs market. Through interactive feature demos and bite-size industry expert seminars, we're aiming to reach over 90,000 students.
Two tours will run in parallel across the length of the country.
One tour will be based in student unions . The second will be in a fully branded outdoor structure at key campus locations. Each tour will be on campus for 5 days, Monday to Friday with both locations hosting a fully trained W7 Tour Team ready to assist students as they demo features.
Windows has partnered with Toshiba and each tour features 25 new Toshiba Z830 Ultrabooks™ demo stations.

Way back in 2009 I blogged about IE8 by CEOP for safer browsing and last week as part of Safer Internet Day 2012 we announced that we’re partnered with CEOP (Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre) again this year to launch customised IE8 and IE9 browsers for CEOP.
The new Internet Explorer 9 includes a dedicated Thinkuknow & Bing homepage, specific CEOP bookmarks and CEOP + CEOP partner visual search. And if you are running it on Windows 7 there are features such as the option to install Jump Lists and Jump Lists available in IE gallery.
