I am Microsoftie 4 ever (19+ years) working in Windows Services and Content team in the UK, my blog is mainly focused on the Windows family of products and trying to provide help pointers and resources for customers on our products.
Search is something I use all the time in Vista, but when I show it to friends and colleagues some of them are generally surprised to find it and how great it can be :)
So this great demo vide from the Windows Vista team demoing the instant search is rather great.

Apparently this is the first in a series of demos and I look forward to seeing the rest :)

Over at the Windows Vista Magazine they are running a quick survey around what Windows Vista software you cannot live without for a forth coming magazine article.
I have voted for mine

So it looks like http://mobile.microsoft.com is now also showing the new updated styling of the Windows homepage and also some nice new content.
The little video to download is pretty cool and is worth watching, you might start to see some themes coming through with all the other demos going live at the minute. It is optimised for a mobile device (Windows Mobile Phones, iPhones and other phones…)
There are also some US only Phone and PC offers if you are interested… as well as the latest Live Search download.
Yesterday i mentioned the Windows Digital Photos Demos now available on Microsoft.com. So i thought today I would highlight 3 more demos around working from anywhere with Windows:
1. Work anywhere
2. Find more with Windows Live Search
3. Stay connected with Windows Live Hotmail

They are very much focused at the consumer audience who may not be aware of the possibilities with all the suite of Microsoft products across Windows Vista, Windows Live and Windows Mobile.
there are 4 demos here

No this isn’t a Dr Evil Mini Me post but rather a quick bit of fun to spice up your Windows Live Messenger… Over at http://www.minimise-me.com you can create your own character and download in into your messenger.
Not sure about the one I created, I don’t have a hat like that, and it is a little bit Pete Doherty esque (or maybe the Artful Dodger) but it could suit :)
I should have probably chosen the racing driver helmet as more appropriate considering my past time...
Pick one of the celebrity characters if making your own is just too much effort.
Of all the 2300+ articles and demos on the Windows Help and How-to site there are 12 that have been given a 100% positive rating*, fro the Was it helpful? at the bottom of every page
* of course a number of caveats to this number
