Following on from the previous post I wanted to bring to your attention the Windows Online Gallery.
We’ve provided several sample themes and desktop wallpapers for our beta testers to try out. There are beta themes for the UK, US, Japan, and Germany, and also some “region neutral” themes and images.
When you click “Get more themes online” in Windows 7, you now get to the Gallery, where you can download the latest and coolest themes, backgrounds, desktop and sideshow gadgets. There are some UK themes in there including Beaghmore Stones (Northern Ireland), Llanwst (Wales) and my favourite Isle Of Lewis in Scotland:
Expect to see more gadgets and themes in this area over time as we add to them.
To access the themes from within Windows 7 do the following
To get to the gallery, click on the “Get more themes online” link in your Windows 7 Personalization control panel (Control Panel –> Appearance and Personalization—> Personalisation)
