I am Microsoftie 4 ever (18+ years) working in Windows Services and Content team in the UK, my blog is mainly focused on the Windows family of products and trying to provide help pointers and resources for customers on our products.
I have been working with my colleague Elena to get this special promotion live on our Windows web sites here in the UK.
The deal is that if you buy any PC with Vista Home Premium or Vista Ultimate from DABS you can get 25% off the Hauppauge HVR 900 TV Tuner. Click the banner above to check it out and it may be something worthwhile if you are in the market for a Windows Media Center ready PC.

Twitter in the UK just keeps growing and growing according to Hitwise
Some other facts from the report about Twitter in the UK:
and to quote the last paragraph on the key to having a successful Twitter presence
‘…is to engage the community. Twitter is a great viral marketing channel, and for many users the aim is to have their story ‘retweeted’ – i.e. passed on by other users – as many times as possible. Although all of the newspapers have multiple ‘official’ feeds, these tend to be bland and have very low ‘retweet’ rates. Where journalists themselves are ‘tweeting’ themselves and engaging with the Twitter community, they typically have more success in creating viral stories.’

Strangely is a term ‘Web 2.0’ according to a story on the bbc- BBC NEWS | Americas | 'Millionth English word' declared
Although reading the article there seems to be some doubt…
However I hadn’t realised that
‘But with 1.5 billion people speaking some version of English, it is small wonder it is the fastest growing language in the world’
I had expected something like Chinese or Spanish to have that accolade.
