Just wanted to highlight these 3 new Windows help topics:
“With Windows 7 and the latest Windows Home Server update—Power Pack 3—you can use Windows Media Center to back up recorded TV shows to a computer running Windows Home Server. To learn more about Windows Home Server, including how to install Power Pack 3, see the Windows Home Server website.”
“If you receive Windows Update error 80242016 while checking for updates, it might be caused by a connection interruption between your computer and the Windows Update servers. Close Windows Update, wait 10 to 15 minutes, and then run Windows Update again. You can also wait for Windows Automatic Update to run at its next scheduled time.”
“If you receive Windows Update error 80070571 while installing updates, it's usually because the update content isn't valid and could be corrupted. This most likely is the result of a disk error. To resolve the problem, follow the steps below, and then try to check for Windows updates again.”
I was sent a link this great article by a UK MVP on the Windows7Forums

“Transitioning to a new operating system is challenging, particularly for people with disabilities who rely on important accessibility features. People tend to grow comfortable with their current operating system and resist upgrading. However, not upgrading to Windows 7 means missing out on the many compelling features that help make this version of Windows fast, easy to use, easy to customize, and accessible. One of the main goals of the Windows 7 engineering teams was to make Windows 7 as accessible as possible for users with disabilities. At every phase of development—through design, implementation, and testing—each team kept the needs of all users in mind, integrating accessible design principles into each feature of Windows 7.”

“My MS paint World [UPDATED] This is how far i have painted on my world. I have worked on it for 4 years”
Try here if you need some help on Paint but it won’t be enough if you want to do a copy of the Mona Lisa in Paint.
Thanks to @gannotti for the spot.

Well according to Exploring the Use of Twitter Around the World London is the leading city in the world in terms of Unique users and 2nd (behind New York) in terms of actual Tweets Twitted.
However what was possibly the most surprising data point was that Brazil is now the 2nd most popular country for number of Twitter users, knocking the UK down to third (we are used to Brazil beating us at football so nothing unusual then)
I wonder why Brazils growth on Twitter has been so huge in the last 6 months?
Thanks to @jangles for the tip.
Spotted this in Debenhams the other day and couldn’t resist, and no I don’ think Microsoft are going into the kitchen cooking / utility business.
PS no comments about it being more useful that Windows Vista please ;)
I do like a good story about language be that written or spoken goes a little awry. So new of a dog that could only listen in Polish brought a smile to my face.

“A dog caused confusion in an animal home when he failed to respond to basic commands - until staff realised he could only understand Polish.”
