See how the Local Language Program helps students in New Zealand and Vietnam

Just been sent news of these 2 new videos about how the Local Language Program is supporting the Maori language in a Hamilton school in New Zealand and how language packs of Windows and Office are helping students in Vietnamese schools.

Go to the Microsoft Unlimited site and within the language program section you will see the 2 new videos:

    Maori and Vietnamese videos

I love these quote from the Maori video:

“When you learn a language you understand the culture, when you learn a culture you begin to understand the language”

if we do not speak Maori our treasured language will be lost

“Yes, if we do not speak Maori our treasured language will be lost.”

For more information on Windows Language Interface Packs try the Download languages for Windows page.
