    Hi Rob,

On this topic, I had a few issues with my HP Photosmart Printer/Scanner over the weekend. Yes it is compatible (confirmed at: www.microsoft.com/.../ProductDetailsViewer) and I could scan a document OK however Windows only enables yo to save the scan as .jpeg, .tiff, .png or .gif. HP's additional software allows you to scan and save as .pdf (which is what I want) however I tried to install that software on Windows 8 and it said the O/S wasn't supported and would not install.

In other words, having compatible drivers shipped in Windows might only be half the story. Just be aware...

    regards

    Jamie (@jamiet)

Jamie - thanks for that, as you know with anything that is yet to be fully released things may not go as smooth as you want
