The fourth instalment of my occasional highlighting of some of my favourite Windows Store apps.
*****Disclaimer up front…”I am in no way connected to the developer, have no vested interest in the app (except wanting to in this case showcase a great app) and am making no gain whatsoever by this posting, neither have I been asked to promote the app by anybody”*****
Some of you may know of one of my side hobbies is competing in hill climbs and sprints in my Caterham Hayabusa, and I was randomly looking at the Windows Store where I spotted this app in the New and Rising Section…and it grabbed my attention, the reviews where very positive so I thought I would give it a try.
Hill Climb Racing
Meet Newton Bill, the young aspiring uphill racer. He is about to embark on a journey that takes him to where no ride has ever been before. With little respect to the laws of physics, Newton Bill will not rest until he has conquered the highest hills up on the moon! Face the challenges of unique hill climbing environments with many different cars. Gain bonuses from daring tricks and collect coins to upgrade your car and reach even higher distances. Watch out though - Bill's stout neck is not what it used to be when he was a kid! And his good ol' gasoline crematorium will easily run out of fuel.
Having installed and played with the game for a while yesterday I found it incredibly engaging and addictive, and for a motorsport geek great fun. However I seem to be continually spending my coins upgrading my vehicle. Something that the missus has endured for years…
Highly recommended to while away the hours….
