How great is this latest Bot, from the MSR-MT team Windows Live Messenger translation bot now available!
Really easy to use and setup in a few seconds on Windows Live Messenger, and on your smartphone.
To get started just add mtbot@hotmail.com to your contacts, then start a conversation with TBOT ? to get a list of commands, and then for example enter 7 (for English to Italian translation), then type your message and you get a machine translated response such as
‘quanto freddo è il Bot in tensione di traduzione del messaggero delle finestre’
Update – just also added this to my Office Communicator and of course it works fine there too.
From today you can now buy amongst other Microsoft products (such as Office and Expression), various editions of Windows Vista (full product and upgrade), direct form the online Microsoft store at http://www.microsoftstore.co.uk or to go direct to the Windows Vista selection use https://emea.microsoftstore.com/UK/DesktopDefault.aspx/tabid-2/
You should be able to buy the physical box as well as via a download. This new choice of getting Microsoft products gives you the customer another way to get our products.

So earlier today I successfully moved from the Windows 7 beta to the Windows 7 RC with only a few minor problems that where fixed either in Action Center or running Windows Update.
I then stumbled upon this great video from Stephen Rose about what’s new in the Windows 7 RC, which is a great video if you want to discover what has changed.
