Rogerio Cordeiro - Technical Evangelist and Windows Azure Champ

Rogerio is a Technical Evangelist and Windows Azure Champ at Microsoft Brazil. He comes to this role after 5 years serving as a Developer Evangelist driving adoption of the Microsoft platform, awareness and engagement across the Developer audience (technical audience team and ISV team) through an integrated approach to evangelism, technical communities and intelligent audience marketing.

His experience includes developing, supporting and evangelizing Microsoft platform based frameworks used to jump-start development projects. Through his speaking, writing, and consulting, he helps technical decision makers, developer technical community and companies in Brazil understand, use, and make better decisions about new technologies and solutions for software development.

With over 15 years of experience in IT, he works at Microsoft for 5 years. Prior to joining Microsoft he acted as a Developer Engineer, Developer Lead, and Project Manager for some companies in Brasil. He has also authored white papers, articles, videos, and webcasts for magazines and sites around technology and computing engineering like MSDN Brazil portal, and editorial board of Mundo.NET magazine.

He is graduated in Electrical Engineering and has a specialization’s degree in Health Informatics from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná.

Rogerio has been a Developer Technical Content Lead and speaker for Tech-Ed Brasil 2006/2007/2008/2009/2010/2011, speaker for many events like Microsoft RoadShow Brazil 2008/2010/2011,Microsoft Community Launch Brazil 2008/2010, Software+Service Day 2008/2009, ReMix Brazil, JustJava 2008, PHP Conference 2009/2010, and others.
