Last week, we looked at some of the types of applications we can build with Visual Basic.

But some of us thought this was odd.  After all, we did show building a console application, windows application, and a web application from the command line.  Command line?

Yes, we can build our applications from the command line (like the "old days"), but this is 2007, and we expect a more robust environment for building our apps.

So in this week's session, we'll look at Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition, a free download for building applications with the Visual Basic language.  We'll start from scratch, such as where to download it from.  Then we'll continue by exploring how it organizes our solutions, how it helps with editing code, and some of the debugging features.
