I frequently see the question asking if/when will Service Pack 2 for SharePoint 2010 will be released. I don't know when, but if we look at the following KB article, it appears there will be a Service Pack 2 for SP2010. It will add support for Windows Server 2012. As always, things can change. I'm reading the same KB article that you are. My crystal ball is in the shop this week. Smile

    however, supported operating system only lists Windows Server 2008. Either they forgot to list Windows Server 2012 or it still does not support it.

  • Just checked today (December 16 2013), the slipstreamed MS SharePoint 2010 SP2 is out! This on now supports Windows Server 2012.

  • Just to clarify, I meant SharePoint FOUNDATION 2010 SP2. Sorry

  • Thank god for Ron and Ian. I spent hours and hours talking to MS software and licensing and digging through research until I found this. We just wanted to install SP 2010 Foundation on Server 2012 std and no one could tell us where to get it.
