I used to be a frequent Ryanair flyer, but now I can't see the destinations map because my computer won't support Silverlight and I can't see where Ryanair fly to anymore. They need to come up with an alternative to Silverlight. A message keeps coming up saying that I need to insert a CD that doesn't exist. Who do they think I am ? Paul Daniels ?

We are still runnning XP at work, I used to use the Ryanair map all the time and I can't anymore. Thanks for that. Silverlight won't install, I don't know if that is related to XP or to our company policy, all I know is I can't see the map anymore. Guess I'll have to use another airline ... Way to go Ryanair and Microsoft !

Maps are images. Apparently, from what's on offer at Ryanair, it's impossible to generate a route map image to serve their customers.

At the least, a series of route maps could be generated, one per airport, from the data on edges connecting airports to each other.

Can anyone create these images by screen capture from a Microsoft Licensed Windows 7 Silverlight installation? This is the system specification which seems to be needed to recover the functionality of a Compuserve's GIF, given iPLANIT choice of technologies.

I have the latest version of both (FF3 and SL4) - all I want to do is attach files to emails in Hotmail but I can't because this doesn't work.

Anyone found the old Flash based map yet? About a year ago I found a link to it but now I can't. This one mentioned earlier has only flights from London (Stansted) www.airlineroutemaps.com/.../Ryanair.shtml and does not include them all.

I can't install Silverlight as I have no administrator rights for the computer I'm using at the moment. I don't know if I would like to install it in any case.

I hope that the silverlight project will be dismissed as soon as ryanair don't lose all its guests.
