Recently I got an opportunity to attend Metamorphosis 9, organized by Pervasive Software with focus on agile integration for Cloud Computing representing a wide range of ISVs, SIs, ASPs, On-Demand Vendors, and Industry Analysts.

 

The key notes were delivered by Bob Anderson, VP Research, Gartner Inc. and Mike Hoskins EVP, CTO & GM Pervasive covering industry trends and drivers for SaaS integration in an Interconnected Heterogeneous world. Bob shared his recent survey results indicating Data Integration is the top issue among enterprises wanting to adopt Cloud Computing.

I was lucky to be part of the Expert Panel discussions led by Jeff Kaplan, THINKstrategies with  Mike Hoskins, EVP, CTO & GM, Pervasive,  Dean Robison, Sr VP, salesforce.com, and Lonnie Wills, CEO, CloudTrigger. We touched variety of scenarios including Cloud-to-OnPrem, Cloud-to-Cloud, OnPrem-to-OnPrem, Private Cloud, Line of Business (LOB) Applications in Cloud, multi-tenant IaaS (Integration as a Service).

 

I enjoyed this well planned and executed event.
