&lt;p&gt;Here My sharepoint farm have oct 2012 cu. For the existing feature and exisiting content type &amp;nbsp;and list defination i have &amp;nbsp;added the extra columns(Fields) &amp;nbsp;and deployed withought adding the feature upgrade. &amp;nbsp;when i deploy its working. Means that no need to add the feature upgrade.&lt;/p&gt;
