We had a team morale event today in Seattle at Kaspars.  It was so much fun.  We all got into small groups to follow a recipe for one of the courses, under Kaspar's watch.  My group did the salad and spring rolls (i've always wanted to learn how to do this correctly) appetizers.  I had no idea how easily you could garnish a simple red-leaf salad.  Then each group served their meal to the rest of the team.   The entire "event" took 5 hours.

If you're looking for a great team morale event, this is the best one i've done by far, although i'll never say no to laser tag.

On an interesting note, I had my first steak in 13 years about a month ago (it's a long story.  I did the vegetarian thing for only 4 years, but when i started having dreams of hamburgers, i realized my body was trying to tell me something.  But why 13 years?  i honestly just lost track of time.)  So when we ate the beef thingy (it sounds like it was a steak), i thought i would be cool, but wow, as soon as i ate it, along with all the other food courses, i got the "what have i done?" feeling, like i had with Burgermaster that time.  I was out cold by 6pm tonight, just waking up now, wondering how will i ever make it to physical therapy (yes, still in it for my leg) at 7am tomorrow if i'm wide awake now, but too groggy to do anything productive, except to blog =)

Yes Alan, you can say i overslept for karate yet again.
