the high contrast shortcut is amazing!! i sit upstairs on my PC and with the sun beaming throuhg my window and whith high contrast i dont have to sit in the dark!!

Great ya... that is what the stuff iam searching for. Iam a Software tester and currently involved in the testing of the wizard which is going to be released soon. The accessablity testing is the one most of the tester and the dev. are not focusing .
But the article in this web page seems to be promising and gives a lot of stuff that can be applied during tetsing process.

Do you know the history of why visual studio 6 added a "screen reader compatible menu" option instead of adding accessibility to the menu control it used?

The high contrast portion of accessibility is new to me. I tried out the High Contrast Black large as you suggested and all the hyperlinks become almost unreadable because they are blue on black. How can I code with this consideration in mind? In other words, what do I need to do to make the hyperlinks visible under high contrast?

I think this one item in your blog would make an excellent article for CodeProject.com. There are hundreds of thousands of windows developers there and it's an important topic.
