For some reason all of a sudden I started getting PPP errors during connection on VZW broadband on my Mobile phone.

So, I had to re-initialize the connection on the phone.  This also works when tethering the phone and you don’t have to use the VZW software

• Number To Dial: #777

• Connection Availability: Anyone's Use

• Username: [[your phone #]]@vzw3g.com. Example: 9175551234@vzw3g.com
