How do you take New Zealand's biggest technology conference, with a fantastic track record, and make it even better?

Well, you tell me!

I'm the NZ executive sponsor for TechEd 2008 and I'm really excited to be part of the team putting together this year's event. We're in the planning stages so if you have some ideas on the TechEd experience you'd like to see, leave a comment here or email me. I'd love to hear from you.

From the Vaults: The first Microsoft NZ "Developer's Conference" was held in 1996. It was run by Microsoft Consulting Services (MCS - 5 or so guys at the time). We put together a two day event in both Auckland and Wellington and attracted about 350 attendees. Michael Howard did a marathon whole day session on security (of course) and I remember doing sessions on mail-enabling apps with MAPI and a new thing called three-tier architecture :)
