Next Tuesday, May 15, the doors will open to the inaugural Security Development Conference 2012 (SDC2012) at The Fairmont in downtown Washington D.C. This two-day security industry event is being hosted by Microsoft to bring together organizations from a variety of industries to learn from each other, build professional networks, and expand the growth of a security ecosystem around security development practices.

Speakers and panelists have been selected from over 25 companies to provide a breadth of perspective. Attendees will hear from security professionals from 25 different organizations including Adobe, RedHat, IBM, Itron, Salesforce.com, Microsoft, Cisco, NIST, NSA, Intel, Lockheed Martin, BlackBerry, and more. These practitioners will share their own experiences with the goal of helping other companies accelerate their own adoption of security development lifecycle practices. There will be plenty of technical content for the security engineers, but we will also include content for business decision makers (development directors, IT managers, and CSOs) and security program managers (project managers, policy makers, compliance teams).
