&lt;p&gt;If it isn't supported, would just love to know that so that I don't go hitting my head and trying different ways to work around. :)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The creation of the chart and embedding the chart in the tablix worked fine as described, but when I preview it, I get the following error:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;[rsInvalidDetailDataGrouping] The chart ‘Chart1’ has a detail member with inner members. Detail members can only contain static inner members.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I'm using RS2008/VS2008 by the way. If I remove the grouping on the detail row, the report will render, but of course I lose my grouping. &amp;nbsp;Any ideas?&lt;/p&gt;
