Guess my Google "double standard" post drew some attention in Scooble's FOG (Fear of Google) post for today.

Do get me wrong, I way prefer some of Google's products in some cases and even as a MSFT employee, i'll admit that I use their search engine most of the time and Gmail for my personal mail. But Is it just me or they are essentially trying to "do everything all at once". Sure Microsoft does also has its paws in lots of sectors, but that happenede over the course of over 20 years. Seems like they have been going balistic since they went public. Plus all the "personal info" they are gathering through all of their products is actually getting a little scary.

I think they are trying to dip into everything in an attempt to create "percieved growth" to maintain their highly inflated stock prices. Just my thought...
