If you use Hotmail, you might have seen a message that says your mailbox can be upgraded to Outlook.com. In addition to a new look and feel and tools to help you be more productive, Outlook.com offers more privacy. You’re in control of your data, and your personal conversations aren’t used for ads.

We don't scan your email content or attachments and sell this information to advertisers or any other company. You decide whether to connect your account to any social networks, and you're in control of who you friend or follow.

  • how can i remove the security locked icon on my address bar.i can't go on with site.

  • hi i got an email on 4/09/2012 marked " E-mail Account ALERT!" Microsoft limit exceeded (581-jtok) and that my account had been suspended as it was tagged as SPAM account?

the email suggested I click on the link provided to reactivate.

can you kindly confirm whether this is a fraud email to obtain my details/hack into my account?

    many thanks

    Dee

  • There is one little bug: I can send an email with my personal photo (not professional or private), with an avatar (infantile in business circles), or an empty photo placeholder, ridiculous. Why does outlook.com force me to have a placeholder?
