Windows Remote Assistance makes it easy for you to get computer help from someone you trust, such as a friend or technical support person whom you have contacted. The helper can use Remote Assistance to connect to your computer and walk you through a solution—even if that person isn't nearby. You can also help someone else the same way.
When you use Remote Assistance, the helper can view your computer screen and chat with you about what you both see. With your permission, your helper can even use his or her own mouse and keyboard to control your computer and show you how to fix a problem.
To help ensure that only people you invite can connect to your computer by using Windows Remote Assistance, all sessions are encrypted and password protected.
Microsoft and Microsoft partners will never call you to charge you for computer fixes; if you receive a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft offering such a “service,” the call is not legitimate.
For more information, see Avoid tech support phone scams.
There are two ways to get help by using Windows Remote Assistance. If both you and your helper are running Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows RT on your computers, you can use Easy Connect. Otherwise, use an invitation file.
To get step-by-step directions for both of these methods, see Windows Remote Assistance: Frequently asked questions.
I have been with msn for more than 10 years and this person , hacked my email this past week. They changed my primary alias to an outlook.com address and took over my email. They changed the language to Bengali and blocked me from receiving emails. I have managed to temporarily reset it but this will not last long. I can answer ANY security question or activity question previous to this week for the past ten years. I need help from you or a direction to go so that I can step on this bug and get my email back in working order. Please help. I will be on my computer all day today. Thank you

Hi, I have a shared computer at home of which I am not the administrator only on a homegroup as a user. We also have ATT Wireless Wifi hooked up to our Directv system. My question is, can the administrator of the laptop computer change anything on my microsoft account such as passwords and security settings? Can he somehow get my passwords to my hotmail, skydrive, facebook and my wireless smartphone info which uses my wireless wifi. Can I create my own network on this lap top? I am sooo confused!!!
when I go to 'sky go' every film, sports game or any other programme I want to watch keeps 'bickering' from 0 - 100. Why is this happening? It is spoiling my entertainment.
Uninstall and reinstall
Blogs are a one-way street. The writers don't do personal assistance. They write the articles and post them, end of story.
If you need assistance go to one of the Microsoft forums (there are plenty) and ask there.
I have had telephone callers from 00158535335909, 001800180200, 002717634235, 004412698496, claiming that they were from Microsoft. The first one claimed that computers in my area were being hacked and that he will check if mine is clear.. One witheld his number. The one from South Africa(woman) claimed that my computer had a virus and that she will put it right. The one from the UK calling himself Alex but with a strong Pakistani accent hung up when asked for his details. They are all trying to use remote assistance to commit fraud. Could you contact the appropriate govt security depts in these countries to apprehend these cyber criminals? Please send out a broadcast immediately to all windows users that Microsoft does not telephone computer owners before some gullible users have their bank accounts cleared. The callers even knew my name and residential area - information which they can only get from bank records, which they may have hacked or provided by a corrupt bank staff member.
