  • Hello, please can you tell me if the email I received really came from your security team. I was asked to do a security update over the past few days then today  the message mentioned it was the last day to do it, otherwise they would close my account. So I did provide an email address so that they could send me a security code, then I entered the security code in my Microsoft account.

Now I suspect something is going wrong...can you please let me know if the message originating from the following link is really yours. Many thanks (dos.cd@hotmail.com)

  • Sadly, msn doesn't care about their front page users.  their ad settings never work and they don't allow a person to change the type of news feeds a person receives.  over half of their news is celebrity crap which really sucks.  time to go back to google.

  • I can not install updates on Windows 8.1.

I final start to accept that there is no Start menu. But now, I can not install updates.I tried to install updates manuel and they failed.

What is wrong with my PC?

I should have taken it back to the store once I saw that there was no start menu. What a bad choice I made.

    Please help me install updates.

  • I have tried for the last few days to get a security code without any luck,I have waited ages for "chat" so that I can ask how to get a security code but it seems to remain on chat and the same number of minutes waiting time. Now I can't access my account and can't seem to find a way of contacting msn regarding this. Can anyone tell me how I can remedy this please because I can't seem to do it through msn -thankyou

  • I'm still using WindowsXP. How can I get virus software that will work well with my Dell laptop and IE8?

  • Another Victim of this latest problem!  HELP!

  • I've been receiving phone calls supposedly from Windows ITT saying someone in North Carolina has breached my Windows account through the Internet.  I don't believe these calls are legitimate as the phone number coming up on CID is strange (545-454-5454).

Can you please verify whether or not it is legit so I know how to deal with it?

  • Requested a security code over 20 times in the past 5 days. Now I am locked out of my account. From what I can see from the comments above it seems  I am not the only one. Quit screwing us around fix this issue. How difficult can it be?

  • cannot install windows 7 updates they all fail looks like there would be a simple answer for this. windows 7 has so many

  • My wife is the latest Microsoft victim.  She has a virus on her computer. Microsoft Help support listed three Microsoft security software that is suppose to identify and remove the virus, Microsoft Safety Scanner, Microsoft Security Essentials and Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool.  All three identified the virus as TrojanDropper:Win32/Rotbrow.E and .F but none of them removed the virus.  So what are they good for??  Anyway, called Microsoft support and was told for $150 they would get rid of the problem.  If their Security software won't fix the problem, how can they do it?  My money is going for Apple the next time.  I have heard for years that they were more resistant to viruses and if this is the kind of support Microsoft gives, I am ready to spring for an Apple

  • MSN email is terrible.   I am able to sign into it but unable to view any of my emails or open any folders from my PC. So I stared using my phone. Now I am blocked by security from viewing anything on my phone even though my phone number is listed in their records.  I am changing to another email provider.  Unfortunately my contacts are locked under good old Outlook.  Thanks for nothing.  By the way trying to chat with one of your experts is totally frustrating.  They know nothing.
