I was told by Kaspersky to turn off Windows defender because it was not compatible with their software. Turned defender off uninstalled Kaspersky and then reinstalled that software no problems ever since.&lt;/p&gt;

Sure it has some nice features for exec&amp;#39;s but the bread and butter PC users are going to struggle with it. I am an XP fan although I do run Win7 and have got to like it but if MS build robust software that wasn&amp;#39;t full of exploits which they plug with patches on a monthly basis, there would be no need to force satisfied XP users to upgrade.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Perhaps, we, need Uncle Bill, indeed...? &amp;nbsp;They&amp;#39;ve lost their way, and billions of dollars, and millions of customers since he left!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The phrase, don&amp;#39;t mess with it, if it works... comes to mind... I think that comes from the 1930&amp;#39;s-40&amp;#39;s.... But then, I&amp;#39;m old at 50!&lt;/p&gt;
